As you know, we've all had some experience with dangerous, powerful entities recently. I have a great deal of knowledge and dealings, more than I'd like to be, perhaps, with the Dark Arts, and those who channel it.
You and your family are a part of my House, and your protection is of the utmost importance. Do please let all concerned know that the charms on the paintings have been strengthened both by myself and by my son, Gavroche, whose magic works in different, yet complementary, ways. Once I meet Jadis, I shall further refine the charms to keep her out, even if she should bewitch someone to escort her in.
I shall meet her, of course, and I shall be careful. I have powers of my own to protect me and mine, and I intend to ensure the safety of the House of Arch and its occupants.
