Lucy's curled up in a pile of leaves.

She's still, mostly, in a grand mood, which is what really must be the case when one's husband has stopped, as she puts it, "being stupid," and when there's a mug of hot chocolate to warm you on a cool day, and when even though you're not sleeping all that much more you find you're not as tired as you were a week ago.

So she can curl up in the leaves and look at the clouds, as Corella's been cared for, and hum to herself a little.

Adam is... well, he is NOT curled up in the leaves. But he's enjoying the day all the same. Which could be why he misses Lucy there in the leaves and accidently kicks her foot.

"Oh, dear. I'm sorry, Lucy."

"Ow!" is followed by, "Adam!"

She likes Adam!

She has to think on that, now, because her first response is, "Of course," but then, he brought her back to life and killed her and won't help her have a child and dumped her for something she really couldn't control...

She's frowning, now, but it's the frown of someone who's indecisive, more than upset, as she peers up at him.

Adam looks down at her, face turned at an odd angle.

"Are you alright down there?"

"No. You kicked me," and it's said a little sulkily.

Well, he did. She was in a fine mood, mind, and she still kind of is, but that doesn't change the fact that she's been kicked.

"I'm sorry I kicked you."

He flops on to the ground nearby.

"How are you aside from that?"

She considers, and then says, contentedly, "Very, very, very well," which is true, but not as true as it would be if she added "shagged" to the end of that sentence.

She sounds pleased, at least.

"You?"

Adam coughs, a bit, and laughs, but smiles.

"I'm well, I suppose."

Not nearly so well as Lucy, apparently.

"You should QUITE well."

"Well, I am. Said I was, didn't I?" she points out, glancing over at him with a small smile.

All right, so, she still likes Adam.

Next question; is she angry with him?

Conclusion: The Antichrist is a giant git, so yep. Probably. Does she bring it up, now...well, it probably wouldn't do much good.

And he's trying, she's certain, even if he did kick her, so it would be rude.

"Well, if Caspian weren't stupid it would happen more, so it's not my fault," she says, and it's a bit sulky again.

She doesn't want to not be very, very, very well. She so doesn't deserve blame for this. Nope.

"He wouldn't let me snog him," she says, and it's quite sulky as she glares in the direction of the lake. "And then he got all jealous over Lilly, which was just silly."

Adam thinks she did something? Adam?! Lucy did nothing!

She looks very, very hurt as she says, "Nothing. It's not my fault Lilly offered to sweep me away for fun once or twice. I only told him if he were being hugged by strange women I'd just have to do something drastic like run to her for comfort, but he wasn't, so I don't understand why he was so stupid over it. Besides, she's pretty and offers to sweep nearly everyone away, because she's Lilly, and I wouldn't have said he wouldn't have to worry about me kissing her if he were kissing me if he'd just done it, would I?"
