She's...not exactly nervous.
A little nervous.
A tad nervous.
But not scared, really, as she looks at the dress Susan made her and the flowers Mary's brought, and fidgets, slightly, trying to remember how to breathe.
The twins are sulking around her feet, and it's something of a comfort that makes her smile.

"Nervous, I suppose. And no, nothing. How's your head?"
no subject
She gives Lucy another squeeze. "You look beautiful. I believe the word is 'glowing'."
no subject
And she laughs again. "I'm terrified, a little."
no subject
She is flustered. Very much so.

She takes a small velvet pouch from her pocket and hands it to Lucy. Inside is their Great-Grandfather Pevensie's signet ring. Both Lucy and Susan thought of the same ring independently, so it will serve nicely.

She knocks lightly on the door, a wrapped package under one arm and a green dragon wrapped around her neck.
Puff had been oddly insistent about coming along.

MAMA.
WE ARE IN THE CEREMONY!
The twins have tiny necklaces on that Lucy got for them from Bar.
"Hullo, Alanna," Lucy says, a bit nervously, as she smiles and smoothes at her hair.
no subject
And she does. A tiny voice in the back of Alanna's head wonders what sort of wedding dress she would have chosen, but it's quickly squashed. She's enjoying her own dress far too much for even the smallest regret. It might be the deep green color, but more likely it's the way the dress highlights the bump.
You will be ssspectacular, my darlingsss.
Puff straightens on Alanna's shoulder and looks at Lucy with a penetrating stare.
It seems to say: Are you sure, Human?
no subject
"Susan made it for me. It really is a lovely gown."
It suits her, and Lucy is content.
YES, MAMA.
WE REALLY WILL.
Lucy looks back at Puff and smiles. "Hullo, milady dragon. I've a gift for you, if you'd like it."
And everything about Lucy's smile answers the question Puff asks with an affirmative.

(She had known they chose a good Human for the twins, but it's nice to be reminded. Especially with bribes.)
"Flammable underwear?" Alanna asks, kissing Lucy's cheek in turn. "Susan has quite a talent. I enjoyed speaking with her again last night."

It's a necklace with a small amber stone, to match the twins' (and all three sets of dragon eyes, too).
At Alanna's words, she laughs, and blushes a little as she thinks on the previous night. "Did you have fun, then?"
no subject
All of this goes out the window when she sees the necklace. Purring with delight, she nuzzles Lucy's hand when the woman slips the necklace around her neck.
Alanna snickers.
"Well done. Puff will now gladly go to battle for you." At the question, she turns scarlet. "Um. Yes, I did. Indeed."
A lengthy pause.
"Er, I'm sorry we had ourselves thrown out."
no subject
"I thought it would suite her, and it seemed unfair for the twins to have one and her not."
Lucy has to grin, a little. She can't quite resist.
"You should have chosen a better location?"

"How're you feeling?"
no subject
"You?"
no subject
"Not nervous, though. I mean, if I thought you suspected my plans to stand up at the speak now bit and tearfully confess my love for you before drunkenly passing out on the hem of your wedding dress, I might be nervous. But as it is, I'm good."

Lilly grins.
"Or, you know, best wishes on your wedding day. Whichever would be more appropriate. Sometimes it's hard for me to tell."
no subject
She's grinning back.
"I'll take the best wishes and your love on top of it, as long as it's platonic."
Lucy's eyes are bright and pleased, and as they talk she looks a little more relaxed.

"It's--you--he really liked the nightgown," she says, weakly.
